What the work actually involves

What we actually
build together

Most organizations don't need more tools. They need fewer decisions left unclear. Our work focuses on designing and implementing systems that create clarity, reduce friction, and produce repeatable outcomes.

  • Clarify how decisions are made

Remove ambiguity from your marketing process so execution becomes automatic.

  • Reduce friction between teams, data, and execution

Connect the dots so your stack works as a system, not a collection of tools.

  • Replace manual work with deliberate automation

Build automations that support your team instead of creating new dependencies.

  • Create repeatable, measurable outcomes

Build systems with clear signals so you always know what's working and what isn't.

Core Areas

Core areas of work

Core Area 01

AI System Architecture

Designing how AI fits into the organization as a system — not a standalone capability.

  • — Decision flows and ownership
  • — Data inputs and signal integrity
  • — Human-in-the-loop design
  • — Where decisions can be revisited

Core Area 02

Marketing & Revenue Systems

Building systems that support growth without creating operational drag.

  • — Lead flow and qualification logic
  • — Funnel and lifecycle design
  • — Signal tracking across channels
  • — Automation that supports teams

Core Area 03

Automation & Orchestration

Reducing manual effort while preserving control.

  • — Workflow design across tools and teams
  • — Orchestration between systems
  • — Error handling and fallback logic
  • — Documentation for long-term operation

Core Area 04

Product & Content Workflows

Designing how work moves from idea to execution without friction.

  • — Content systems that scale without chaos
  • — AI-assisted creation with human oversight
  • — Workflows from brief to output reliably
  • — Repeatability without loss of quality

Core Area 05

Strategic Implementation

Staying involved long enough for systems to actually work. This is where most engagements fail — we don't leave at delivery.

  • — Phased implementation planning
  • — Real-world testing and adjustment
  • — Measurement and refinement
  • — Long-term operational stability

The stack is only yours if
what goes into it is yours.

Examples of the Work

AI Search Visibility — Real Customer Result

Tutu's Pantry: From Search to Storefront

The Moment

On August 3rd, a customer walked into Tutu's Pantry in Kīhei and showed owner Ellie Salazar something on their phone: a ChatGPT conversation where they'd asked for local gift shopping suggestions in Kihei and Wailea. Tutu's Pantry was the very first recommendation — complete with the store's address, hours, and a specific list of what to buy there. The customer had driven 51 minutes from Kaanapali, nearly 30 miles around the west side of the island, specifically to visit the shop after reading that recommendation.

Why It Happened

This moment happened mid-project, before the AEO foundation build was even fully complete. A full 613-product brand and heat-level audit had already reached 100% brand coverage, alongside confirmed AI-crawler access and an llms.txt file pointing AI tools to the brand story and top categories — the foundational work that made a recommendation like this possible in the first place.

In Ellie's Words

"We've seen instant gratification from all the work Brent has done with our brand and website. Within days of working with Brent we have had customers say that while searching for 'locally made gifts' our name popped up first on AI tool search. I highly recommend Brent's company to optimize your company's visibility on AI search!"

AI Search Visibility — Blog Content Audit

Tutu's Pantry: From Buried to Optimized

The Challenge

A routine content review surfaced a broken link on one blog post — pointing to an unstable internal search-results page instead of a real product page. That single find led to a full 16-post audit of the entire blog, revealing that 9 of 16 posts (56%) contained the same broken-link pattern, totaling 19+ individual instances. A deeper SEO audit of 8 representative posts found the real scope: zero of eight had a Focus Keyword set, and none had a custom SEO title or meta description.

What We Did

Corrected and independently verified all 19+ broken links across all 9 affected posts. Five posts then went through a full optimization pass: a Focus Keyword, rewritten SEO title and meta description, corrected image alt text, a genuinely researched content expansion (real, sourced facts — not filler), and one authoritative outbound link per post.

AI Search Optimization — Shopify Retail

Bootzie Fragrance: Built to Be Found by AI Search

The Challenge

Bootzie's product pages had stale, incomplete structured data — meaning AI search tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity had no reliable way to understand or recommend the products, even when customers were actively asking those tools for gift and fragrance ideas.

What We Did

Rebuilt FAQPage schema from scratch across all 12 core product pages, fixed a JSON-LD bug breaking search indexing on 5 pages, and corrected a cross-site tracking error at no charge. Every page validated error-free through Google's Rich Results Test.

Speed Optimization — Shopify Retail

Bootzie Fragrance: From 15 Seconds to Under 7

The Challenge

Bootzie's Shopify store was loading in over 15 seconds on mobile — slow enough to lose customers before the page even rendered. Google PageSpeed scored it 42 out of 100.

What We Did

Diagnosed the root cause: 5–6 duplicate tracking tags and a store-locator script loading three times, adding over 875 KB of redundant weight. Removed the duplicates at the source — Shopify's Web Pixels Manager — without touching any working functionality.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an AI marketing system actually look like when it's built?

A built AI marketing system has five interconnected layers working together: a decision architecture that defines how marketing choices get made and who owns them, a lead and revenue system that captures, qualifies, and follows up with prospects automatically, an automation layer that connects all tools and eliminates manual handoffs between systems, a content workflow that produces consistent output without requiring daily creative energy, and a measurement layer that tracks performance and surfaces what's working. When all five layers are functioning, the system runs whether or not someone is actively managing it that day.

How is building an AI marketing system different from hiring a marketing agency?

A traditional marketing agency manages your marketing for you — they own the strategy, the execution, and often the tools. When the engagement ends, you're largely back to zero. Building an AI marketing system means creating infrastructure your business owns and operates independently. The goal of every AI Marketing Partner engagement is to leave you with systems your team understands, can operate without outside help, and that continue producing results after the engagement concludes. You're not renting marketing output — you're building a compounding asset.

What types of businesses benefit most from AI marketing systems?

AI marketing systems produce the strongest results for businesses that have a clear offer and know their audience but struggle with consistent execution, founder-led or small-team organizations where marketing competes directly with client work for time and attention, service businesses with long sales cycles that need automated nurture sequences to stay in front of prospects, and organizations that have tried content marketing before but abandoned it due to the time required. The common thread is not industry or size — it's the presence of an execution gap between the marketing strategy the business understands and the consistent output the business is actually producing.
